An old character from 6th grade, her name is Nora. Re-designed her look. Still kinda working out styles with digital seeing what I like. So far I’m liking how I lined and colored this. But what you guys think
For the final project, it was a self portrait using color. Monochromatic, Analogous and full color. I wanted to have my pictures line up on the eyes. The next post will have close ups and references
Design 1 project 5 ° Transformation project. We had to take an
object and have it transform into something organic. But also do not
make it predictable. My original idea went from a broom to a cat, then a
banana to an octopus. My final outcome became the Lance to a dragon.
Plus they are related since knights would fight dragons with
lances/swords
We had to take images and expand them. Making it seem like there is not an image there in the first place.I went with okami and used one of the backgrounds from the game. I used charcoal to blend it out. My teacher said I did a really good job. I have drawing 1 to thank 😄
Design 1 project 2 ° I don’t have my first project with me.
It was a movement with a repeating shape project. This one was practice
with cubism of a fire hydrant. Painted with acrylic on Bristol board. I
hated painting on this paper.
The last project was to create a mold with the clay. This is an unfinished project. Never ended being a mold just another sculpture. It has a few cracks and I need to paint. I will post the finished one when it is all done.
We had to make a mask and I wanted to make a water spirit. Clay was used as the base then covered in plaster to make the shape. Made the clay smell gross but was fun to make.
I had to create a head of anyone so I made one of my character Gladia. For my first time really working with clay and making a face, I think I did pretty good. But I want to keep working with clay and get better cause it is a lot of fun. 🔥
Project 1 for sculpture 1 ° We had to create anything with clay which would become a mold. I wanted to make a beach and when it was finished everything came out in reverse. I didn’t like it at first but after painting it, I went back to liking it.
